Mississippi Gateway Regional Park

Mississippi Gateway Regional Park was transformed to help people reconnect with the Mississippi River—one of the region’s most powerful and defining landscapes. In partnership with Three Rivers Park District, the project turns a once hard‑to‑reach riverfront into an inviting destination for everyday life. The new Gateway Center welcomes visitors, while a treetop trail lifts them into the forest for unforgettable views. Nature‑based play, clearer paths and improved access encourage exploration, alongside refreshed favorites like the dog off‑leash area, archery range and picnic shelters. The park now brings people closer to nature, the river and each other year‑round.
