Join the Climate Action Committee of ASLA Minnesota for a native plant-focused ecology tour of the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden in Minneapolis on Saturday, July 19th. This guided experience will begin with an introduction by a garden ecologist and offer participants a unique opportunity to explore the oldest public wildflower garden in the United States, founded in 1907. Nestled within Theodore Wirth Park, the 16-acre sanctuary features over 600 native plant species and 130 bird species across diverse ecosystems, including wetlands, upland forests, and oak savannas. The garden’s commitment to preserving native flora in a naturalistic setting makes it a living classroom for ecological awareness.
Registration for this free event will be opening soon.
