Shakopee Parks, Trails, & Recreation Master Plan

Shakopee is a historic riverfront city rich in cultural history, physical and ecological resources, and features a booming population of active and involved citizens who care deeply about the future of their community. The purpose of the Parks, Trails, and Recreation Master Plan is to guide the future planning efforts for public park spaces and trails within the City of Shakopee by providing a comprehensive vision and framework for staff and elected officials to use to plan, build, communicate, build partnerships, and strategize about how the city’s parks will guide the vision for the future of Shakopee that citizens will continue to cherish.
